Searching for a lost society. This drawing was partially inspired by the work of Tove Jansson, creator of Moomins. I love how she was able to use pure line work and simple hatching techniques to create depth and atmosphere while keeping a whimsical feel thanks the her compositions and subjects. I'd like to explore more with this rendering style in the future.
