Character designs for use on my new brand identity: Lost Rest. Under the name Lost Rest, I plan to create art pieces, several illustration projects, comics and other narrative forms, and make a wide range of products including apparel, prints, and unique collectables. All of this will be centered around the themes of world building, storytelling, and play as means of tapping into the creative process.
These character designs—conceived around Spring 2018—are my first explorative steps into this new venture. They may ultimately serve as mascots, of sorts, not unlike the way Disney uses it's initial characters as the faces of the company. As of now the characters are in early development, but they will soon have names and backstories and will be featured in stories together.
