I had the pleasure of working, once again, with the great Irish folk fusion band Wolf & Clover in 2021 to create art and design for their sophomore release, Twelvemonth & a Day. I had a blast diving into the material and working closely with the band to develop this conceptual packaging artwork.
All the visuals in the work are either direct references to the music, or inspired by it in some way. We chose to go for an almost renaissance-like approach to house and represent all these elements, by developing a frame-like structure inspired by triptychs of the era, in which the complete work would only be revealed by opening the closed doors of the frame.
I'm quite happy with the results we got, and with the experience of creating the work.
